E-commerce platform on WordPress and WooCommerce, with companion iOS and Android apps extending the storefront to mobile.

The catalogue carries flexible categorisation, search, and filtering, and checkout is tuned for conversion with multiple payment methods and shipping options. Inventory management is wired into the listings so stock visibility is real rather than a number somebody updates manually and forgets.

WooCommerce is the right answer more often than engineers like to admit. The client needed a catalogue, payments, shipping rules, and an admin their own team could operate without calling a developer for a price change. Building that from scratch is months of work reproducing something that already exists and is already understood by the people who have to run it daily. The engineering effort went where it actually mattered: theme customisation, plugin selection and configuration, and performance.

Performance is the part that needs deliberate attention on this stack. A default WordPress commerce install is slow in ways that cost conversions, so page load and navigation were optimised rather than accepted. The design is mobile-responsive throughout, since the majority of the traffic is phones.

Native iOS and Android apps extend the same storefront to phones and tablets for customers who prefer an app to a browser tab.

Ongoing maintenance keeps the platform patched and current, which on a plugin-based stack is not optional. Mr Kamran, the client, later described the wider work as revolutionising their inventory tracking.
